Chest Burn

My Pedometer
Yesterday, I downloaded a pedometer app on my phone and within a minute after it was downloaded, I stepped onto the driveway and did the flash dance, dance for about a minute. I checked my pedometer and it flashed that I'd stepped over 300 steps. As proud as you might be of me, don't be so quick to congratulate. I was soooooo very tired at the end of that minute, that it took me about five minutes to recover, my thighs were hurting from the intensity of the dance. I was sweating, well my skin glistened a bit. Girls don't sweat, do they? That's right, girls perspire. Don't know what the flash dance, dance is? take a look. I did everything after the 1:53 mark, OK, Ok I just did the run in place part in these very cute sneakers from Mr. Sixfootplus.

Today, I went to the basketball court, I was hooping it up until I was stopped by the strength of Mr. Sixfootplus's pass. I tried to block the pass and ended up jamming my finger. Did that for a minute stopped my momentum and drive I was on to burn up some calories? Psshhhhh, no, not really, well only for about five minutes, but I was good after that. Sadly, I did not have my phone on my person so I can't tell you the number to steps that would've registered on my pedometer today. Tomorrow is a new day. I feel an intense game of racket ball coming on.

I will keep you posted. Before I go, I have to tell you that sometimes I forget my mind operates on a way younger setting than my body does. I take most of my queues from my mind but my body does all the dictating, it just shuts down when it wants to stop.

Working Out?
I've been eating well, I've added a little exercise, rode my bike, 2.5 miles the other day, was sweating sweat droplets as large as boulders, to add to that the following day  I jogged about a mile in our community along the trail. I say about a mile because I did NOT jog the entire trail... still building up my endurance.....to encourage me along my lovely daughter just completed a rigorous workout and has been asking me to go workout with her almost daily. I haven't taken her up on the offer yet, but I intend too, tonight, ok not tonight, maybe tomorrow night.

In the past I've tried doing one of those intense cardio workout regimen by the beachbody people and that was awesome, but since i've stopped, I think it was during a water break.....I have yet to return. Must've been really thirsty......any who....we are now coming along side a group of friends doing the P90X program. We haven't started it yet, but Mr. sixfoot plus and I intend to take pics and post from start to finish.

I have to say, I can't include Mr. Sixfootplus in my procrastinating category as he has left me in the dust. Big man has dropped two pant sizes, I KNOW!!!!!!! what am I waiting for? I hear ya! I hear Ya!!! I don't know really, I've never, ever have been in need of motivation to work out, I can't tell you what is up. But I am getting back into it, more slowly than usual, but I'm getting there.

DAY THREE
The only thing I can say about today is that it wasn't a good food day. The only healthy thing I had today was three, ok may five chunks of watermelon. I will post a more healthy choices post on Monday. Don't give up on me. Don't give up. I was thinking about posting some transformation pics but I think I will wait until I start to transform, in the mean time I will continue to take the picture each week Yeah? Yeah.........

HEALTHY CHOICES
I intend to track my health and maintenance of health right here. You more than likely will end up laughing at me as I try to stay healthy through exercise and a balanced diet. And by balanced I mean keeping my plate from falling to the floor while I try to pace myself from inhaling all that’s on it. I promise to chew at least 35 times before I swallow, starting today, but you can call me out when I only chew 13 times ok?, I will drink more water and I will at least go walking each day. For now let's just start with finding my sneakers first and we'll begin with day one tomorrow. Yes? Thanks.
